I know there will soon be some obstacles ahead and it makes me kinda nervous.

2. restarting school so far behind everyone else.

I don't know if it's been these past couple of months or what but I really feel like I'm growing as a person. I feel like I'm becoming more calm and self aware. I'm really enjoying it. I'm not saying I don't get cranky still or get myself into situations that I know I could've handled better, but I feel like I'm understanding myself and other people better. It makes me feel more peaceful. I also feel like I'm becoming more accepting of others short comings and differences they have. I'm beginning to see that not everyone's the same as me and even I'm not perfect.

Real Simple

So my salon that I work always gets the magazine Real Simple. I'm in love with it. There's so much inspiration in there. I think I want to repaint my room. My room get completely re-done last year but when I came room to see the new paint on my walls it ended up being the exact same color as before! Bummer!

So this is what I want.

I need to have this color lipstick. It's called "The Prowl". uugggghhhh it's gorgeous.I've been looking for the perfect shade of crimson lipstick forever. Looks like I'm going to M.A.C. tomorrow. I think I'll buy some blush while I'm there.

Playin' Sick.

Yesterday I played sick from work. I had no one in my book and I just didn't feel like sitting there for four hours, so shhhh! don't tell anyone. Mike and I decided to go to the park. I swear Munster Dump Park (despite it's name) is the best park around. There's this part of the park where you just hang out with butterflies. It's amazing. We then went to Olive garden because I cashed in all my change from my piggy bank. 63 bucks! Then we went to the mall. It was a good afternoon.

Hello Lansing/Munster!

Yesterday Mike and I went on a great walk all the way to Target from my house.We went and visited the rooster dish set I really really want. It looks like I should buying them soon because a lot of the set that I want is gone and I have to go to another Target to buy them!

These are two pepper shakers. I really want one pepper and one salt but they were out of salt shakers, which are white and adorable.

City Girl

Today I went to go to the city for an art fair and to mainly visit my friend Angella. I am NOT a city girl. Please, don't get me wrong I'm crazy for the city of Chicago, but I have no clue where anything is. So as the fair ended up being next weeked instead of today (oops!) she took me on a little tour. Well kinda a big tour. We went to the north side, west side, loop, and well I parked my car close to the east side. Thank you so much for the fun day today, Angella!

oh my gosh! I desperately need to go shopping for fall. Especially with this cooler weather we've gotten the past few days. I'm definetly not complaining about the weather though. It's wonderful compared to the hot sticky summer we've had. I know I need to go to Urban Outfitters and Forever 21 quick!



I'm like dying for those shorts on top even though they won't keep me a bit warm with the cold winters we get. Oh and that cardigan on the bottom! That skeleton hand shirt is just really cool. That stuff is probably more then what I make in a month though!



Those black boots...uuugggghhhh I've dreaming about them since I've laid my eyes on them a week ago. I imagine what I could wear in those.

Also I finally got my camera in the mail and I'm going to start taking a picture everyday that sums up my life that day. Yes, I got the idea from my friend Angella, hi girl! Last night my boyfriend Mike and I made cheesy hash brown casserole for dinner. super super good!

Paul Mitchell Hair Show.

Today I went with some co-workers to the first official Paul Mitchell What Inspires You show.It was amazing! Robert Cromeans is like incredible.





I definelty wish I had my camera already so I could've taken pictures but it hasn't come in the mail just yet!

I'm beyond excited to get it! I wanna start selling on etsy and also try to get on lookbook. Another thing I still wanna work on is fixing up this blog here. I look at other people's thats have had theirs for a while and mine looks like poo poo compared to them.It'll come in time I guess!

Mad Men

I've been watching a lot of mad men lately and I'm kinda obsessed with everything about it. There personalities, the way they talk, how they act around eachother, and especially the way they dress. I think my favorite character is Betty Draper.
